Scenes from previous exhibitions, open days and similar events

• Sunday 6th July, 2008. Pictures from the very successful special show in memory of the late Brian Scoulding in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association
• Sunday 22nd July, 2007. The Club's biennial Penarth Show held in the Paget Rooms in Penarth. Part of the Penarth Festival for 2007.

• Wed-Sun 13th - 17th April 2005 Intermodellbau Dortmund 2005.
  The club was invited by the German Model Railway Association (MOBA - Modellbahnverband in Deutschland e.V.) to exhibit 'Tafsil' at this major five day event in Germany. Seven of us travelled with the layout mainly by night in a hired 17 seater mini-van.

• Thursday 20th May 2004 - Themed night on the main Holton Junction layout in the Clubrooms
  Members brought their Southern Stock, both BR and earlier OO-gauge models to run on Holton Junction.

• Thursday 4th - Sunday 7th March 2004 - Fazination Modelbau, Sinnsheim, Germany.
  Vanessa and Mike's layout Devil's Creek was exhibited as part of the BDEF exhibition ' U.S. Railroads'.
  They, together with four other members left the club rooms on Tuesday 2nd March in a 17 seater mini-bus and drove overnight to Germany, via the Dover-Calais ferry. The return journey, again mainly at night, saw them back at the clubrooms by mid-morning Monday 8th March.

• Thursday 19th February 2004 - Themed night on the main Holton Junction layout in the Clubrooms
  Members brought their B.R. Green and/or blue diesels plus stock (1965-80 ish) OO-gauge models to run on Holton Junction.

• Barry & Penarth MRC was one of just eight clubs chosen to represent British Railway Modelling at Stuttgart in November 2002. The eight clubs were guests of the Bundesverband Deutscher Eisenbahn-Freunde e.V. at BDEF's international model railway show Modellbahn Süd in Stuttgart.
