Members layouts - E: The Spokane Division of the Great Northern Railway
The Spokane Division of the Great Northern Railway comes alive each Summer in the garage of one of our members
The layout is loosely based on the Pacific Northwest of the USA in the early 1950's. Steam, diesel and electric locomotives feature. Stock is mostly Great Northern, but Union Pacific, Milwaukee Road and Spokane, Portland & Seattle also appear.
The following stations are serviced with a single track with passing places: Spokane, Tacoma, Yakima, Index and Butte. Other notable features are the Columbia River and Cascade Tunnel. The main station is Spokane, which also comprises the Loco Depot, small classification yard and industry sites.
More details will be available on this page shortly.
